  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Shredded; optional: use mild cheddar if preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Scallions Can substitute with chives
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce Or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Or fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Can substitute with lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce Adjust according to preference
  • 1/4 cup Everything Bagel Seasoning

For Serving

  • 1 bag Bagel Chips Homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups Fresh Vegetables For dipping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Slice bagels into ¼-inch thick rounds and arrange on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crisp. Let cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sharp cheddar, minced scallions, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth.
  • Shape the mixture into a loose ball with your hands.
  • Roll the cheese ball in everything bagel seasoning until coated.
  • Serve immediately with bagel chips or store in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Notes

Optional garnish with extra minced scallions for a fresh touch. Serve with fresh vegetable sticks for a healthier option.
