Ingredients
  

For the Strawberries

  • 1 pound Strawberries Ripe and hulled
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar High-quality aged
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Honey can be used as an alternative

For the Burrata

  • 1 ball Burrata Creamy cheese

For Toppings

  • 1/4 cup Pistachios Chopped, walnuts or almonds can be substituted
  • 1 bunch Mint Fresh herbs
  • 1 bunch Basil Fresh herbs
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

For the Bread

  • 1 loaf Bread Sourdough or rustic loaf

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Whisk together balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a bowl until well combined.
  • Hull and halve the strawberries, then toss them in the balsamic mixture.
  • Spread the strawberries in a casserole dish and roast for 20 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  • Preheat your grill pan or skillet while the strawberries are roasting. Brush sliced bread with olive oil and grill for about 1 minute on each side.
  • Assemble the dish by placing a scoop of burrata in a serving bowl. Top with roasted strawberries, fresh herbs, pistachios, salt, and pepper.
  • Serve immediately, optionally drizzling with extra aged balsamic.

Notes

For best results, serve fresh. Leftovers can be reassembled and enjoyed later.
