  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add shrimp and cook until pink (about 3 minutes). Gently fold in crab meat.
  3. In a separate saucepan, melt remaining butter over low heat. Whisk in flour until smooth, then gradually add heavy cream while whisking until thickened. Stir in cheddar cheese and Old Bay seasoning until melted.
  4. Combine the creamy sauce with the shrimp and crab mixture until well mixed. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Top with panko breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter for extra crunch. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
