  • 8 oz Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 8 oz Emmental cheese, grated
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 garlic clove

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of a heavy-bottomed fondue pot with the garlic clove.
  2. In a bowl, mix the grated Gruyère and Emmental cheeses.
  3. Heat the wine in the fondue pot over medium heat until warm (do not boil).
  4. Gradually stir in the mixed cheeses until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Add black pepper and nutmeg; stir to combine.
  6. Serve immediately with dippers such as bread cubes or vegetables.
