  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. In a saucepan, warm the heavy cream until just simmering, then pour it over the melted chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes and stir until smooth.
  2. Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, and chili powder until well combined.
  3. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours until firm.
  4. Using a melon baller or teaspoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll into balls.
  5. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder until fully coated.
  6. Chill again for about 10 minutes before serving.
