  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and pumpkin puree until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Optionally sprinkle additional cinnamon sugar on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool before cutting into squares.
