  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup potato starch (or cornstarch)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, potato starch, baking powder, and water until smooth.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat (about 350°F).
  3. Insert wooden skewers into each hot dog and dip them into the batter until fully coated.
  4. Fry the hot dogs in the heated oil for about three minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oil and drain excess oil on paper towels. Top with shredded cheese while hot, then drizzle with Sriracha and sweet chili sauce before serving.
