  • 1 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa or above)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (whole or cream)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until frothy.
  4. Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture, stirring until well incorporated.
  5. Sift flour and baking powder into the chocolate mix. Gently fold until just combined, then add blueberries carefully.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean or slightly gooey.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over cooled brownies.
