Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet once hot.
  3. Sear the steak bites for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low and add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Gradually stir in grated Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta shells and steak bites back into the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce.
