  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the beef short ribs on all sides for about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  3. Stir in minced garlic, thyme, and bay leaves; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the beef short ribs to the pot. Pour in beef broth and balsamic vinegar. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours until the meat is tender.
