  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking tray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter until smooth. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour in milk and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared tray and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While cooling, beat together powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth, then add heavy cream until fluffy.
  7. Frost the cooled traybake and decorate as desired before slicing into squares.
