  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the frozen tortellini according to package instructions until they float (about 3-5 minutes). Drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, pesto sauce, garlic powder, and olive oil until smooth.
  4. Fold in the cooked tortellini until evenly coated.
  5. Layer half of the tortellini mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle with half of the mozzarella, then add the remaining tortellini and top with the rest of the cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
