  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spread half of the batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle half of the mini marshmallows on top, add the remaining batter, and finish with more marshmallows.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Let cool slightly before slicing.
