Chestnut & Bacon Pasta is a delightful blend of crispy bacon and earthy roasted chestnuts enveloped in a creamy sauce.   • 8 oz fettuccine or pappardelle pasta
  • 6 oz thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup roasted chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon for 5-7 minutes until crispy. Reserve some drippings.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in chopped roasted chestnuts and heavy cream; simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Drain pasta (reserve some pasta water) and add it to the skillet, tossing everything together. Use reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper before serving.
