Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak on both sides with Cajun seasoning. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter, and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to your liking. Remove from heat and let rest.
  2. In a pot, boil salted water and cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet used for the steak, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, stirring while scraping browned bits from the pan.
  4. Once bubbly, reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Add reserved pasta water if needed for desired consistency.
  5. Slice the rested steak into strips and return it to the skillet along with drained pasta. Toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Serve on plates or bowls, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
