  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well mixed. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Add an egg yolk and mix well.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top, then add the remaining brownie batter over it. Use a knife to create swirls.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
