  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 6 oz lump crab meat
  • 4 oz thick-cut bacon, diced
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, reserving some fat in the pan.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for five minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in crab meat, bacon bits, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta until well-coated with the sauce. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
