  2. Cool down: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes.
  3. Peel the eggs: Gently tap each egg on a hard surface and peel under running water.
  4. Prepare the filling: Halve each egg lengthwise, scoop out yolks into a bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper; mix until smooth.
  5. Fill the whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into each egg white half.
