  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Juice the lemons to yield 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a blender, combine the lemon juice, chopped ginger, ground turmeric, honey or maple syrup, and filtered water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove pulp.
  4. Pour the strained liquid into ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  5. Enjoy frozen shots straight or blend them into smoothies.
