  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup scallions, chopped (green parts only)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and half of the scallions.
  4. Place seasoned chicken in the baking dish and pour the sauce over it.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Garnish with remaining scallions before serving.
