  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg yolk until well combined.

  5. Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and place them two inches apart on the baking sheets. Use your thumb or a spoon to create an indent in each ball.
