  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 cups green cabbage, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 30 dumpling wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground pork, chopped cabbage, minced garlic, grated ginger, and soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Lay out dumpling wrappers on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center of each wrapper and moisten edges with water.
  3. Fold wrappers over to create half-moon shapes and pinch edges tightly to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add dumplings without crowding and cook until golden brown on one side (about 3 minutes).
  5. Carefully add ½ cup water to the skillet, cover immediately, and steam for about 5 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Uncover and let any remaining water evaporate while crisping up the bottoms.
