  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano and basil)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the garlic and measuring out all components.
  2. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, following package instructions.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Sauté for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet; add minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté until fragrant, then pour in heavy cream and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Slice cooked chicken and return it to the skillet along with drained pasta. Toss well to coat everything in the sauce; simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese or cracked black pepper.
