Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 12 oz chicken sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the fettuccine: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. 2. Sauté the sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add sliced chicken sausage. Cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Make the sauce: Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. 4. Combine: Mix in grated Parmesan until melted. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

  6. 6. Serve: Plate the dish and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
