  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and drain excess fat.
  2. While the beef cools, chop the onion, garlic, carrots, and cabbage.
  3. In your crock pot, combine the browned ground beef with the chopped vegetables and diced tomatoes (with juices).
  4. Pour in the beef broth; season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and bay leaves.
  5. Set the crock pot on low heat for 6 hours or high heat for 3 hours.
  6. Once done cooking, stir well and serve hot with crusty bread.
