  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet; season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes or until pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and heavy cream; simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss the drained fettuccine with the shrimp mixture, adding reserved pasta water if needed for creaminess.
  6. Finish with lemon zest and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
